Let’s edit/create google-mod-pagespeed.repo
vi /etc/yum.repos.d/google-mod-pagespeed.repo
and add
[google–mod–pagespeed]name=google–mod–pagespeedbaseurl=http://dl.google.com/linux/mod-pagespeed/rpm/stable/$basearchenabled=1gpgcheck=0
yum install mod-pagespeed
service httpd restart
This is how we test it…

php – short_open_tag not working?
Some tutorials tell use to set short_open_tag on /etc/php.ini, but it might now work!
This might not be the php.ini that PHP/Apache is reading.
Use phpinfo() to get the real php.ini file.

Yesterday I had to set up a new server for bunch of sites from 2008 using PHP Pear….

You might need to add the following line at the end of /etc/php.ini
extension=mysqli.so
Please use -q:a or -q:v, -qscale is ambiguous
Some of my old scripts with ffmpeg… are now breaking apart …. returning, sometimes…
